This free-form drawing started from one corner and just grew one pattern at a time. The end result resembled an underwater kingdom, thus the name "Sea Life."
This drawing starts directly from ink - no pencils or sketches - because the idea is to just work with whatever happens. It's an exercise in letting go of over planning and perfection. Once the ink is all set, I'll come back and add charcoal pencil for shading, giving it a more 3-dimensional feel.
This is an original piece - not a print or reproduction. I will include a Certificate of Authenticity. While you can own the original, I reserve the sole right to offer prints and digital reproductions at any point in the future.
