Handmade green leather cross-body bag/purse, made from high quality top/full grain leather from the Tannery Row in Chicago.
This leather is pretty structured with a stiff temper, making it work really well with the solid maple side panels. Speaking of those side panels, they are roughly 1/8" thick, so they are sturdy without being too heavy. And I've added the Pyro-touch with some Celtic inspired woodburning designs on the surfaces.
Assembly is also bespoke, as every stitch was done by hand and with great care to keep the stitches straight on the wood. This is truly a one-of-a-kind bag!
This is an unlined bag, however, the inside of the leather has been finished to a smooth and nearly-black finish. Simplicity is key with this bag, as there are no interior or exterior pockets. The handles are attached with antique brass rivets and has an adjustable brass buckle if you prefer your bag to hang longer or shorter. Closure is a solid antique brass slide latch. Stitches are using a yellow/gold waxed thread.
As this is a natural product, leather can sometimes have minor blemishes, which adds to the natural character.
Size of the bag is roughly 10-1/2" tall (excluding handles) x 7-1/2" wide x 3-1/2" wide. Strap is roughly 50" in length with adjustments of about 5" using the brass buckle.
