Thick End-Grain Butcher Block style cutting board made from solid Maple, Walnut, and Cherry woods. End-grain cutting boards basically "heal" themselves after cutting because the grain is on it's end (facing upward) so you're not cutting through the grain with general use. That's why end-grain cutting boards look like new for so long!
Special care was taken on the placement of each piece of wood, so the grain creates a lovely "crazy checkerboard" pattern across the top. We've rounded all edges for a smooth appearance. Rubber feet are optional, and if selected, they will be securely screwed into the bottom to make this piece easier to lift and move around your kitchen. Maintaining your cutting board is as easy as wiping with butcher block conditioner/oil whenever it starts to look a little dry.
This piece is very heavy duty and will rival any of the other big names on the market.
